MUSIC MINISTRY
The Music Ministry at Sand Ridge Baptist Church has one purpose - to lead people in worshiping God through music. We strive to be a music ministry that connects with people of all ages by leading worship in a variety of styles. In any given worship service you may hear classic hymns, new praise songs, Southern Gospel favorites, or even bluegrass! Regardless of the style of the music, our goal is always the same - to lead people in singing praises to God and worshiping Him on a deep, personal level.
For people who desire to serve in the music ministry, we offer many opportunities for service. It is our hope that you will want to be a part of the music ministry at Sand Ridge! We encourage you to check out one of more of our ensembles listed below.
WORSHIP CHOIR
The Worship Choir regularly leads in worship on Sunday mornings and presents special musical programs throughout the year. Anyone 7th grade and up who loves to sing and worship is welcome to join! The Worship Choir rehearses at 6:15 pm on Wednesday evenings.
PRAISE TEAMS
Praise teams are an integral part of the music ministry at Sand Ridge. The praise teams consist of a small team of singers (usually 2-4 people) and instrumentalists who lead during our worship services. If you sing or play an instrument, we would love to have you join one of our praise teams! Praise teams rehearse at 4pm on Sunday evenings.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR
Our children's choir is made of kids from kindergarten - 6th grade. They present special programs at various times of the year. The children's choir rehearses on Sunday nights at 5 pm during select times of the year.
STUDENT PRAISE BAND
Student praise band leads our student ministry in worship every Wednesday night during Refuge at 6:30 pm. Practice is every Sunday afternoon at 3 pm. All students who sing or play an instrument are invited to join the band!
