Tennessee Southern Baptist disaster relief is Christian love in action by meeting urgent needs of hurting humanity in crisis situations. Disaster Relief is meeting those needs with loving care in timely response. Sand Ridge Baptist Church disaster relief is coordinated through the Beech River Baptist Association Disaster Relief based in Lexington TN. The Ministry was formed in 2004 after a tornado tore through Henderson County in 2003. Since that time the disaster relief ministry and its arm the Tennessee Baptist Builders has been to 3 countries and 16 states helping over 1150 churches and homeowners. The team has three goals as it responds to a disaster: (1) to give them victims HOPE, (2) to share our FAITH, and (3) to show God’s LOVE. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
